Multi-level retaining wall
Multiple LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) Beams used to support 2nd story for a kitchen extension. This allowed kitchen to be enlarged without any columns.
This LVL ridge beam was designed to support a cathedral ceiling to eliminate the need for ceiling joists or rafter ties. Also shown are (3) LVL beams used to support a reverse gable structure on the left side of the photo.
This LVL framing was designed to prevent sagging of a large reverse gable roof structure. LVL beams run up each side of the gable structure to allow for a flush beam to join roof rafters and the gable ridge.
This roof repair structure was designed to correct a sagging roof and also allow for a new higher ceiling to be installed in an older home.
The design of this complex steel structure allowed for all columns to be removed from the basement of a large home.
Large retaining wall project.
